Organic Farming Conventions organized by Organic Farming Association of India (OFAI) on a biennial basis are a unique and highly popular program in the organic movement of India. The first biennial convention was organized in Gandhiji’s Sewagram Ashram near Wardha (in Maharashtra) in 2006, with the subsequent ones in Trichy (in Tamilnadu), Bhaikaka Krushi Kendra (near Anand in Gujarat) and Orissa University of Agricultural Technology (in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa) in 2008, 2010 and 2012 respectively.
